  2. Resolve a dispute

What is the Internal Dispute Resolution procedure for?

You can use this procedure when our administrators haven't been able to resolve a problem with your pension or the Scheme.

Who is it for?

The procedure can be used by any MPS member, if you're taking your pension or not. It can also be used by:

  • Widows
  • Widowers
  • Civil partners
  • Children or dependants of a member who has died,
  • Pension credit members
  • Prospective beneficiaries

Anyone who used to be in these groups may also still use the procedure, but should apply within six months of leaving.
