At the latest round of MPS member meetings, many of you asked for an example letter you could send to the Chancellor, John Healey. The Trustees are happy to support you on important issues like this that could affect your pension.
The example letter below is based on what members told us they would like to say to the Chancellor. If you would like to write, you can use it as a guide or starting point. If you are unable to print it, a paper copy of the letter will be included with the Scheme newsletter later this month.
Separately, the Trustees are looking to arrange an additional meeting for MPS members who live in the Rawmarsh and Conisbrough constituency. We will invite the Chancellor, who is MP for the constituency, to attend. Invitations will be sent to members in the constituency shortly.
